Putting Jesus first in our lives is a requirement of following Him. He is not something we add to our existing possessions. All of us is what Jesus wants. Christ demands to be first in everything.

Marriage reflects the covenant love of God.

The resurrection of Jesus is real which means there is power available for those who will admit they are weak and rely on Jesus instead of themselves. It means there is hope even for the faithless and hope for all of us that our death is not the end of life.

We are reminded on Good Friday that Jesus endured rejection, mockery, and rejection in order for God to accept us. So that we might be clothed in his righteousness, Jesus was stripped of his garments. In order to grant us eternal life, Jesus had to die.

Misplaced fear hinders faith; even though storms are real when Jesus is with us, we can have Peace in the midst of storms. Our Peace won't come from lack of trouble, our peace will come from the presence of God.
